If you do not have Microsoft PowerPoint on your computer, please follow the link to get a free PowerPoint Viewer

A coding chart is also available in Adobe format.

I have included lessons that correspond the the Saxon Phonics and Spelling lessons that your child is learning in class. Directions for using the lessons are as follows:

Download the free PowerPoint Viewer if needed.
Open the appropriate lesson
You will see the lesson open in a separate window.
From the "Slide Show" menu, select "View Show" or press the F5 key on the keyboard. You may also click on the icon that looks like a slide screen in the lower left hand corner.
Once the slide presentation begin, you may want to select a "pen" from the pointer options so that your child can code the words on the screen.
Click on the "Up Arrow" in the lower left hand corner of the presentation.
From "Pointer Options" select "Pen".
If you want to change the pen color, please repeat step six and choose "Pen Color".
